Saju Compatibility: What It Can—and Cannot—Tell You

There is no honest universal compatibility percentage. A Saju comparison is most useful for discussing rhythm, tension, and mutual support.

The honest answer about accuracy

There is no reliable universal percentage that proves two Saju charts are “80% compatible” or guarantees that a relationship will work. Saju compatibility is an interpretive tradition, not a scientifically validated predictor of relationship success.

Its value is different: it gives two people a structured way to discuss where their natural rhythms may support each other, where misunderstandings may repeat, and where more care could be useful.

What a comparison looks at

A compatibility reading may consider several layers:

  • the two Day Masters and how their phases relate
  • the seasonal context of each chart
  • repeated or contrasting stems and branches
  • patterns of support, restraint, combination, or friction
  • the relationship type: romance, friendship, family, or work
  • The last point matters. The qualities that help business partners coordinate are not identical to the qualities that make friends feel emotionally understood. Sajufy changes the questions and language according to the bond being examined.

    Harmony is not always ease

Two similar charts may understand each other quickly yet reinforce the same blind spot. Two contrasting charts may require more translation yet provide balance. A tense interaction is not a verdict, and a smooth interaction is not a guarantee.

This is why a single match score can be misleading. It compresses several different dimensions—communication, pace, values, emotional expression, conflict, and practical coordination—into one number.

Better questions than “Are we meant to be?”

A useful compatibility reading should help you ask:

  • Where do we interpret the same situation differently?
  • Which person tends to move first, and which needs more time?
  • What kind of reassurance does each person recognize?
  • Which shared strength becomes excessive under stress?
  • Where would a clear agreement prevent recurring conflict?
  • These questions keep agency with the people in the relationship.

    What Sajufy does not claim

Sajufy compatibility does not determine whether someone is safe, trustworthy, faithful, or suitable for marriage. It does not replace honest communication, observation, counseling, or professional support.

Think of it as a relational lens. A good lens can reveal a pattern you had not named. It cannot make the decision for you.
